The place that is advertised as the "Hindustan Ka Dil" is truly not a real reflection of the Indian political scenario. It is one state which has been dominated by two parties only for a long time now and for the forseeable future it seems to be riding on the same path, regional parties have not been able to make any mark in MP {Madhya Pradesh}, it seems that MP has never had any localised issues that have balooned up enough to give rise to a political outbreak resulting MP to convert in a playfield for multiple parties driven by personal agendas.
There has been a a lot of talk about as to how well the BJP led MP government has performed, me not very sure of the same, but based on personal experiences things do not seem very rosy. The first indication is the roads, anyone who had traveled to MP of late by road will tell you that the indication that you have entered Madhya Pradesh is bad roads. The moment you get on to a broken stretch of Highway, while travelling towards MP you can be sure that you have entered the state.
The state has been progressive that is what I have heard, but the article in Times of India dated 23rd October, 2011. states that MP is the lowest in terms of Human Development Index. MP government talks of development a lot but has it really happened?
I am not comparing but still Gujrat and a few southern states seem to be forerunners in actual development, a few of you might ask what happened to Bihar it is growing rapidly, so I would just like to say if you take something from 0 (Zero) to 1 (one) it is equal to infinite growth.
I read about a lot of growth that is happening in the state of MP, but why is it that it is not visible to the common man, the property prices and inflation is killing the middle class and people are actually cutting down expenses to make ends meet, but still as per the latest reports per capita income for MP has risen by about 2000 rupees, why is not visible.
Kindly comment so that I am motivated to write more.....
