Indian Consulate in Afghanistan Attacked

The Indian Consulate in the city of Herat, Afghanistan was attacked by four gunmen on Friday, as per the latest all the four gunmen have been shot down. In a combined effort by the ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police) and Afghan Police. As per sources one gunmen was shot down by the ITBP and two other by Afghan Police. No staff has been injured in the attack as per reports.

The attack has been strongly condemn by our designate Prime-Minister Shri Narendra Modi, he called upon the Ambassador and assured them of complete support and also boasted their morale. he also called upon President Karzai, who has assured complete support.
